John Seeley, Ph.D.
co-founder and managing member of Abacus Research, is also a behavioral scientist at the Oregon Research Institute and the Oregon Center for Applied Science, Inc. His areas of expertise include research design and methodology, program evaluation, and behavioral and emotional disorders. Dr. Seeley has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and has extensive experience in survey instrumentation, multivariate analytic techniques, and longitudinal data analysis.

Jeff Gau, M.S.
co-founder and managing member of Abacus Research, is also a senior data analyst at the Oregon Research Institute. Mr. Gau has extensive experience in project management, multivariate analytic techniques, longitudinal data analysis, and survey development, and has co-authored five peer-reviewed publications.

Keith Smolkowski, Ph.D.
member of Abacus Research, is also a senior data analyst at the Oregon Research Institute. His expertise includes research design for complex projects and statistical methods such as multilevel analysis and structural modeling. Dr. Smolkowski has co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Oregon in Special Education and his master's degree from the University of Oregon's interdisciplinary program with a focus on decision sciences and statistics.

Jason W. Small, B.A.
member of Abacus Research, is also a senior data analyst at the Oregon Research Institute. Mr. Small has extensive experience in project management, multivariate analytic techniques, longitudinal data analysis, and database creation and management. Mr. Small has also co-authored peer reviewed publications.
